natboard.edu.in Trending: NEET PG 2026 Result, Scorecard Download and Counselling Explained

Why natboard.edu.in Is Trending in India

Searches for natboard edu in spiked roughly 800% in India in the 24 hours around 25 September 2026, according to Google Trends data observed that morning. The reason is straightforward: the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) declared the NEET PG 2026 result on its official website, natboard.edu.in, on 24 September 2026, sending lakhs of medical graduates to the portal to check their scores.

Google Trends confirms the search interest — approximately 5,000 searches with 800% growth in the past-24-hour window — but it does not by itself verify result status. The result declaration itself is confirmed by Akashvani News, which reported on 24 September 2026 that NBEMS had published the NEET PG-2026 result on its official website.

NEET PG 2026 Result: Key Dates and Numbers

The examination was held on 30 August 2026 in computer-based mode across the country, for admission to MD, MS, DNB, DrNB (Direct 6-year) and PG Medical Diploma courses for the 2026–27 session. According to NBEMS, as reported by Akashvani, a total of 2,65,960 candidates appeared for the examination.

• Exam date: 30 August 2026
• Result declared: 24 September 2026, on natboard.edu.in
• Scorecard download: from 1 October 2026 onwards
• Answer key: expected on the NBEMS website on 1 October 2026
• Counselling round 1: MCC registration began on 12 October 2026

How to Check the Result and Scorecard

The NEET PG 2026 result was published as a PDF on natboard.edu.in. According to Careers360, the result PDF lists each candidate's roll number, candidate ID, total marks obtained and All India Rank. Individual scorecards — along with the answer key — became downloadable from 1 October 2026 through the NEET PG 2026 login window on the NBEMS portal.

Candidates should note the distinction between the result PDF (a consolidated merit list, available since 24 September) and the personal scorecard (which requires login credentials and was enabled from 1 October). Only those who have secured the qualifying NEET PG cutoff are eligible to participate in counselling.

What Happens Next: Counselling Underway

As of 12 October 2026, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has begun round 1 registration for NEET PG 2026 counselling, per Careers360's live updates. Qualified candidates can register for All India Quota seats, while state quota counselling is conducted separately by individual state authorities. Candidates should rely only on official portals — natboard.edu.in for results and mcc.nic.in for counselling — and treat third-party "direct link" pages with caution.

Why the Search Spike Was So Sharp

With over 2.65 lakh candidates and their families checking results within hours of the 24 September announcement, the 800% growth in searches for the domain name reflects a compressed burst of traffic rather than a sustained trend. Many users type the domain directly into Google rather than the address bar, which is why "natboard edu in" itself became a trending query alongside variants like "neet pg 2026 results" and "nbems neet pg".
