Why 'નક્ષત્ર' is trending in India on 8-9 Oct 2026: Sun's Swati transit before Diwali

Search interest for નક્ષત્ર rose in India on 8-9 Oct 2026, driven by Gujarati astrology coverage of the Sun's upcoming nakshatra change and its timing just before Diwali.

Sun's Swati Nakshatra transit ahead of Diwali

Gujarati media reported on 8 Oct 2026 that the Sun will leave Chitra Nakshatra and enter Rahu-ruled Swati Nakshatra on 24 Oct 2026, staying there till 6 Nov 2026. The window falls immediately before Diwali, which is observed on 8 Nov 2026.

Gujarat Samachar wrote on 8 Oct 2026 about the transit and its pre-Diwali timing: દિવાળી પહેલા 4 રાશિઓને થશે બમ્પર આર્થિક લાભ. TV9 Gujarati's photo gallery on the same day repeated the 24 Oct to 6 Nov window and linked it to Diwali 8 Nov: Sun Transit in Swati Nakshatra 2026.

Four zodiac signs highlighted for financial and career gains

The coverage describes the Swati transit as auspicious for wealth and new opportunities for selected signs. Gujarat Samachar notes the period is being presented as financially and career favourable for Mithun, Tula, Vrishchik and Kumbh.

TV9 Gujarati highlights the same four signs — Kumbh, Mithun, Tula and Vrishchik — with potential positive results from the Sun in Swati, including income growth, career progress and new chances around the Diwali period.

Both outlets carry editorial disclaimers that the information is based on religious beliefs and traditional astrology and is for information only.

Related Sun zodiac change coverage

A separate story added to the nakshatra conversation. VTV Gujarati on 7 Oct 2026 covered a Sun zodiac shift from Kanya to Tula on 17 Oct 2026 till 16 Nov 2026, flagging Mithun, Kanya, Dhanu and Kumbh as signs needing caution during that period: Sun Transit 2026 Surya Gochar.

Google Trends India showed 'નક્ષત્ર' trending in the past-24h around 9 Oct 2026 with approximate searches ~500 and ~50% growth. The signal confirms search interest, not the validity of astrological claims. Astrological predictions are belief-based and not scientifically verified, and nakshatra entry/exit dates can vary by panchang.
