Is the Upgrade Worth the Extra Cost?
Because both models share the same Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, the raw performance gain is modest. The V80’s higher price mainly reflects a larger battery, a faster 144 Hz display, newer OriginOS 7 software and a refreshed “Floating Camera” design. Users who value longer endurance, smoother scrolling and the latest software may find the jump justified. Those satisfied with the V70’s 6,500 mAh cell, 120 Hz panel and lower price may still consider the older model the better value.
