Resolving DigiLocker Login and Verification Issues
Many applicants reported problems linking their DigiLocker accounts via the GOAPS portal. IIT Madras provided a step‑by‑step workaround to avoid these errors.
- Log in to DigiLocker independently using the mobile number verified with Aadhaar.
- When accessing DigiLocker through GOAPS, choose the profile that displays the blue verification mark.
- Set the consent period for file retrieval to at least three years to prevent timeouts.
- Create a folder named
GATE2027in DigiLocker and upload the required SC/ST/PwD certificates; general, EWS and OBC‑NCL candidates need not upload any document. - If the portal flags your email as already registered, change the registered email in DigiLocker settings and retry.
- Complete the compulsory live face authentication using a device with a high‑resolution camera in a well‑lit environment.

Score Validity and Further Use
A GATE 2027 score remains valid for three years from the date of result announcement, allowing candidates to pursue M.Tech admissions, government scholarships or PSU jobs. The score reflects the candidate’s relative performance in a chosen subject, derived from several years of examination data.
