Overview
In early October 2026 a series of bomb‑threat emails struck educational institutions and sports venues in and around Delhi. The messages claimed links to the Khalistan National Army and warned of attacks on specific dates, prompting evacuations, police searches and cyber investigations. No explosives were found, and authorities later labelled the threats as hoaxes.

Mohali School Incident

Security Response and Investigation
Across all incidents, police and bomb‑squad teams conducted thorough searches of classrooms, staff rooms, laboratories, corridors, stairways, washrooms and storage areas. Vehicles parked on campus and nearby areas were also inspected. Cyber units analysed the emails to trace their source and determine the method of transmission. Officials stated that, while the threats were treated seriously, no explosive devices were recovered and the messages were ultimately deemed false alarms.
What Authorities Say
Police have emphasized that the investigation is ongoing and details may change. They advise the public to rely on official advisories for safety instructions and to avoid sharing unverified threat details that could cause unnecessary panic.
