What’s New in the 2026 Fortuner Leader Edition?

On 9 October 2026, Toyota Kirloskar Motor rolled out the Fortuner Leader Edition in India. The edition keeps the familiar 4×2 drivetrain but adds a fresh black‑fined look and a more premium cabin, aimed at buyers who want a mix of ruggedness and style.

Launch Price and Booking Window

Two variants are offered – a 4×2 manual and a 4×2 automatic. The manual starts at ₹36.51 lakh (ex‑showroom) while the automatic is priced at ₹38.72 lakh – a difference of ₹2.21 lakh. Bookings opened on 12 October 2026 through Toyota’s website or any authorised dealership.

Exterior Styling Highlights

• Signature front grille redesigned for a sharper profile
• Gloss‑black alloy wheels with matching hub caps
• Black roof, antenna and rear‑door garnish
• Body‑side mouldings and an exclusive hood emblem

Interior & Comfort Additions

The cabin now features a dual‑tone black‑maroon upholstery, ambient lighting, illuminated scuff plates and auto‑folding outside rear‑view mirrors (ORVMs). A tyre‑pressure monitoring system (TPMS) is also standard.

Ownership Perks

Buyers receive a standard three‑year/100,000 km warranty, extendable to five years/220,000 km. Five years of complimentary roadside assistance is included, and financing can be extended up to seven years. Toyota Smart Balloon Finance and pre‑approved extended‑warranty or genuine‑accessory packages are also available.

Colour Options & Drivetrain

The Leader Edition is offered in three paint choices: Super White, Platinum White Pearl and Attitude Black. It is limited to the 4×2 drivetrain; the 4×4 versions remain in other trims.
