Why does my laptop's display turn off when I'm away from the keyboard?

I have a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 running Windows 11 Pro.
Over the past week or so, I've had this issue where my display turns off every time I walk away from the keyboard.
This seems to happen every time I walk away from my pc.
According to my Power & battery settings, this shouldn't happen for at least 25 minutes.
The strange thing is, and I know this is going to sound crazy, it takes way longer for the display to turn off when I'm in front of my computer than when I'm not. It's almost like the camera is watching me.
I've been timing it, and when I'm outside the range of my camera, it takes about 25 seconds for the display to begin to turn off. When I'm in front of the computer, I can go multiple minutes without this happening.
What is going on?
I looked for the Automatically turn off my screen when I leave setting, but I couldn't find it. The closet thing to "Screen and sleep" was "Screen, sleep, & hibernate timeouts", and that option was nowhere to be seen in that section.

That's a Lenovo feature which is called "User Presence Sensing", or "Human Presence Detection" as explained here.
To change the behavior, open the Vantage app (search for "Vantage" through the search icon in the taskbar), and go to Device → Smart Assist.
Toggle the options and customize the features depending on the options available on your specific model.
