Does IFTTT provide any mechanism to retrieve trigger events beyond the most recent 50 items?

When building an IFTTT service that produces high-volume event streams, the platform's trigger endpoint returns only the latest 50 items with no cursor, offset, or pagination parameters documented in the Service API reference. This fixed window applies to both scheduled polls and manual "Check now" runs, and the limit cannot be increased per applet.
Applet filter code runs per-event with tight sandbox constraints (100 ms CPU, 10 MB memory), so it cannot aggregate or window the stream into larger batches. Real-time webhooks avoid the 50-item ceiling but introduce their own retry and ordering considerations.
For use cases that require reliable processing of every event—such as audit logs, billing meters, or state synchronization—missing events during a burst or outage appears unavoidable with the current trigger contract.
IFTTT's public Service API trigger endpoint always returns a fixed window of the most recent 50 events. The request URL has no cursor, offset, or pagination query parameters, and the API reference lists the limit as immutable per applet. There is no partner‑only or undocumented flag that expands this window or allows paging.
Because the trigger contract is fixed, a service that needs to process every event cannot rely on polling alone. The platform's only mechanism for bypassing the 50‑item ceiling is the Webhooks service, which pushes events to a user‑supplied HTTPS endpoint in real time. Webhooks honor the same retry semantics as all IFTTT executions, so the service implementation must be idempotent and able to handle duplicate deliveries.
If your current service can accept HTTPS callbacks, switch from polling to Webhooks to eliminate the 50‑item ceiling. If you must keep polling, consider building an intermediate layer that aggregates events into larger batches before IFTTT consumes them, but be aware that you may still miss bursts during outages.
