Devicon per-technology variant support matrix absence

Devicon exposes three color variants — original, plain, and line — for each technology icon, yet the project does not publish a machine-readable manifest that enumerates which variants are actually shipped for a given technology. The plain variant is explicitly not guaranteed for every icon, and the SVG sprite and font distributions only reveal coverage through their respective symbol IDs or CSS class lists. Consumers currently parse the sprite file or the CDN-hosted CSS to discover valid technology–variant pairs, a process that breaks when the CDN serves a subsetted font that omits glyphs for less common technologies. This gap forces runtime trial-and-error and makes build-time validation impossible.
- Is there an official or community-maintained JSON/TypeScript manifest that lists supported variants per technology?
- Can the SVG sprite be programmatically queried at build time to generate a reliable variant matrix without downloading the full asset?
- Does the Devicon release process include a step that could emit such a manifest automatically?
