Missing accessibility notifications in Neo4j Browser result pane

Screen Reader Silence After Cypher Execution In the Neo4j Browser (versions up to 4.3), the user interface updates the result container dynamically via JavaScript upon the completion of a Cypher query. However, these updates to the result tables and graph visualizations are not announced to assistive technologies. The current DOM structure lacks aria-live re

Lix lockfiles versus haxelib manual pinning for environment reproducibility

Establishing a repeatable development environment in Haxe requires ensuring that both the compiler version and library dependencies remain consistent across different machines and CI pipelines. Standard haxelib installations typically rely on a shared global repository, which can lead to version drift or silent overrides if developers have different global s

PixiJS 7: Automatic Renderer Resizing Removed – What’s the Plan for Legacy Apps?

Background PixiJS 7 dropped the automatic canvas size adjustment that matched the browser viewport. Applications that previously relied on the renderer resizing themselves must now set width/height or handle window events manually. Current Constraints Legacy code written for PixiJS 6 will break if the canvas is not explicitly resized. There is no built‑in fl

Hyper-V external vSwitch and physical LAN: when does VM traffic become reachable beyond the host?

Goal I want to run a few VMs on a Windows machine with client Hyper-V and give them outbound internet access, without any of them becoming reachable from other devices on my LAN or, worse, from the public internet. I am trying to decide between attaching the VMs to an external virtual switch bound to my physical NIC versus leaving them on the Default Switch.

SQLAlchemy pool with DuckDB dialect: diagnosing intermittent exhaustion across forked workers

Setup I am running DuckDB (assume v0.10.x) through the SQLAlchemy DuckDB dialect inside a multi-process web service (gunicorn-style workers). Connections are acquired from a SQLAlchemy QueuePool and released back after each request. Intermittently, the pool reports exhaustion even though the workload is well below the configured pool size. Tomcat JDBC Pool: testOnBorrow vs. testWhileIdle for safe rollback after a schema change

After running DDL (for example, adding a column) against a database fronted by a Tomcat JDBC Pool, existing pooled connections can become stale. The pool offers two documented validation strategies: testOnBorrow with a validationQuery , which checks each connection when it is borrowed and discards it on failure, and testWhileIdle with the periodic eviction r

Glitch Free‑Tier Sleep Behavior and Node.js Database Connection Pool Interoperability

The goal is to decide whether Glitch should provide a built‑in keep‑alive mechanism (or configurable sleep timeout) to prevent Node.js connection‑pool exhaustion when free‑tier projects automatically sleep after five minutes of inactivity. On the free tier, Glitch terminates the Node.js process and discards all in‑memory connection‑pool objects on sleep, req
