I am trying to connect my ASP.NET Core application that is targeting .NET framework with Azure Keyvault. Why do I need both APPINSIGHTS_INSTRUMENTATIONKEY and APPLICATIONINSIGHTS_CONNECTION_STRING in my Azure Function configuration?

APPINSIGHTS_INSTRUMENTATIONKEY contains the instrumentation key for Application Insights. APPLICATIONINSIGHTS_CONNECTION_STRING contains the instrumentation key for Application Insights prefixed with InstrumentationKey= . That seems pointless unless each value enables certain features with Application Insights.

Getting more 502 Bad Gateway from Front Door to Docker Container webapp

Azure global admin cannot(disabled) add roles under "Access Control(IAM)"

I activated my global admin role in Privileged Identity Management like so When I navigate to the Access Control blade under a subscription, I see the Add role assignment options disabled. Doesn't global admin has global rights and can do this? Thanks
