Sass module syntax on CodePen's pinned compiler A Pen configured to use the Sass preprocessor should compile @use and @forward module syntax before rendering the preview. CodePen pins the Sass compiler version rather than tracking the latest Dart Sass release, leaving the compatibility boundary for newer module syntax unresolved. When the pinned compiler doe
Our project deploys JavaScript functions on Netlify, and we are evaluating the documented node_bundler option under [functions] in netlify.toml . The goal is to standardize on one bundler across all functions before our next major release, but the trade-offs are not fully clear to us. From the documentation, esbuild bundles dependencies directly into the fun
Goal To evaluate how the default single‑threaded inference server (concurrency: 1) in Kubeflow KServe affects request latency when multiple inference requests are sent simultaneously. Constraints The inference server runs without the predictor.serving.kserve.io/concurrency annotation, inheriting the built‑in limit. The Kubernetes HPA does not scale pods auto
Memory Management for Large Result Sets Django's QuerySet.iterator() is designed to reduce memory consumption by bypassing the internal QuerySet cache, allowing large datasets to be processed without loading every record into memory at once. Backend-Specific Cursor Behavior The effectiveness of this feature appears to depend on the underlying database backen
I am configuring session controls on a Teleport cluster (assume a recent 15.x release) and want both protections: disconnecting users who stop typing, and capping total session length regardless of activity. Teleport documents idle_timeout for inactivity-based disconnection and max_session_ttl as a hard lifetime limit, but the interaction between the two is
Context FoundationDB's optimistic concurrency control returns retryable errors ( transaction_too_old , not_committed ) when read-write conflicts occur. The on_error callback automatically re-executes the entire transaction function, which re-applies any writes unless the application implements idempotency at the key level. Constraint Current patterns require
When using the Foundation framework, a Date object represents a fixed point in time independent of regional settings. However, when converting this date into DateComponents using a Calendar , the result depends entirely on the TimeZone assigned to that calendar instance. There is uncertainty regarding the behavior of edge cases near the midnight boundary dur
gleam.http.Client retry configuration The goal is to configure automatic retries for HTTP requests without risking duplicate side‑effects when the request method is not idempotent (e.g., POST, PUT with non‑idempotent payload). Currently the Retry type attached to a gleam.http.Client request only inspects HTTP status codes and network errors; it does not eval
