Launch Date and Pre‑booking
Honda Cars India has started accepting pre‑bookings for the facelifted Elevate, asking a token amount of Rs 21,000 from interested buyers, according to CarWale source. This token is adjustable against the final price and is refundable if the buyer decides not to proceed. The company has confirmed that the updated model will reach showrooms on 6 October 2026, making India the inaugural market to receive the refreshed SUV before any other country.
Exterior Design Changes
The newest teaser reveals a front fascia that now carries horizontal, segmented LED DRLs set into the grille, giving a sharper daytime signature. The Honda emblem has been relocated from its traditional place on the grille to the leading edge of the bonnet, a design cue taken directly from the WR‑V TrailSport HRC Concept shown at Tokyo Auto Salon 2026 source. Above the grille a chrome insert in a contrasting tone sits against a newly introduced greyish exterior colour option. A 360‑degree camera unit is also visible in the teaser images, suggesting enhanced surround‑view assistance. Existing hardware such as the LED headlamps, eyebrow‑style DRLs and the 17‑inch alloy wheel design remain unchanged from the current generation. Earlier teasers had already shown a connected light bar spanning the rear tailgate and additional grille inserts, pointing to a more cohesive lighting theme.
Interior Updates
Inside the cabin, Honda has hinted at a lighter dashboard finish and revised upholstery fabrics that give a fresher feel. Orange ambient lighting runs along the dashboard edges and door panels, adding a warm glow during night drives. A mirror‑shot shared by the manufacturer has led to speculation about a possible digital inner‑rear‑view mirror, although the company has not confirmed its operation or availability. Other features that are still under discussion include ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof and a 360‑degree camera system; none of these have been confirmed for the production model at this stage.
Mechanical Specs and Expected Pricing
Under the hood, the facelift continues to use the same 1.5‑litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that powers the outgoing Elevate. It can be mated to either a six‑speed manual gearbox or a continuously variable transmission, with no alterations to the stated power output or torque figures. CarWale reports that the anticipated ex‑showroom price will fall between Rs 15.30 lakh and Rs 20.50 lakh, placing the updated SUV in direct competition with models such as the Maruti Suzuki Victoris, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, Hyundai Creta, Volkswagen Taigun and the Tata Sierra. The price band reflects the added exterior and interior refinements while keeping the mechanical package unchanged.
