Dipanshu Shaukeen, a graduate of Bhagat Singh College and son of a bus conductor and Anganwadi worker, secured over 30,000 votes to win the Vice President post. Shaukeen, who was previously active with the NSUI for four years, contested as an independent after the organization asked him to withdraw his nomination. He attributed his victory to a focus on local student issues—such as hostel facilities and campus safety—rather than organizational politics, stating that "Gen Z is truly going to bring change" [1].

President-elect Yash Dabas has emphasized that the new administration's top priority will be conducting safety audits for hostels and PGs.
