The final stunt and season performance

The finalists had to jump from a helicopter, ride a jet ski and swim to the endpoint. iDiva reported that Mishra completed the stunt in record time to secure the trophy.

Throughout the season, Mishra did not abort a single task, whether it involved underwater stunts, electric shocks or mid-air challenges. He also won the Swift Immunity Jacket, which gave him the power to save a contestant from elimination or opt out of a task. He used it to save fellow actor Karan Wahi during an elimination round, according to ThePrint.

During the show, Mishra also spoke about being cast in multiple projects because he was considered an “eye candy” and said he wanted to prove there was more to him. After he became emotional, Rohit Shetty consoled him and called him a “lambi race ka ghoda,” iDiva reported.

Why the trophy mattered to him

Mishra told SCREEN, as quoted by ThePrint, that he had spent years being associated with television and being seen as the “good-looking guy” on screen, but wanted people to see more in him. He described the win as his first trophy after a decade-long career and a victory over his own self-doubt.

iDiva quoted him saying that in his 10-year career he had never won any trophy or award before, calling this his first and a better start than he could have imagined.
