Airtel JioHotstar Bundle: ₹598 Plan, Annual Packs and Data-Only Options

If you are searching for jio hotstar recharge options, the direct answer from Indian telecom reports is that Airtel has been reported to offer a ₹598 prepaid plan that bundles JioHotstar with Netflix and ZEE5, alongside separate annual and data-only packs. The plan details below come from reports dated September 30 and October 1, 2026; they are not a live price check on October 16, 2026, so confirm current availability on Airtel's official app or website before recharging.

Why 'jio hotstar' searches rose in India

Google Trends India recorded a 600% growth in searches for "jio hotstar" in the past 24 hours as of October 1, 2026, with approximate search activity of about 20,000. The platform explicitly notes that these counts are approximate search activity, that the signal verifies search interest and not the truth of news claims, and that it does not measure website traffic. In practice, the spike points to users comparing OTT bundles across telecom packs rather than confirming any single plan's popularity.

Airtel's ₹598 prepaid plan with JioHotstar, Netflix and ZEE5

Reported by Jagran on October 1, 2026, Airtel's ₹598 prepaid plan carries 28-day validity and 2GB daily data. Its headline benefit is the bundled entertainment: the pack includes Netflix, JioHotstar and ZEE5. The report calculates the average daily cost at more than ₹20, which it contrasts with the roughly ₹10 a day that Indians typically spend on mobile services. For users who want premium streaming without separate subscriptions, this is the clearest reported route to JioHotstar in the set.

Annual plans compared: ₹3,999 versus ₹3,599

Money9 reported on September 30, 2026 that Airtel's ₹3,999 annual plan includes 2.5GB high-speed data per day, unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, and 150GB of extra bonus data separate from the daily allowance. It also carries a 300GB fair usage policy limit every 28 days and 12 months of Adobe Express Premium. A cheaper ₹3,599 annual option provides one-year validity with 2GB daily data and 5G access, but it does not include the 150GB bonus data. Neither annual plan is described in the report as bundling JioHotstar; the OTT bundle sits with the ₹598 pack.

The ₹49 data-only pack and what it excludes

For users who only need internet, Aaj Tak reported on September 30, 2026 that Airtel's ₹49 recharge pack offers unlimited data with one-day validity. It is strictly a data-only pack: the report says it does not include unlimited calling, a daily SMS quota, or any app subscription for free movies. That makes it a secondary-SIM or backup option rather than a primary recharge.

Choosing the right pack

Pack	Data	Validity	Key extras
₹598	2GB/day	28 days	JioHotstar, Netflix, ZEE5
₹3,999	2.5GB/day	365 days	150GB bonus, 100 SMS/day, Adobe Express
₹3,599	2GB/day	365 days	5G access, no bonus data
₹49	Unlimited	1 day	Data-only; no calls or SMS

The takeaway is that Airtel is using OTT bundling as a differentiator. If your priority is watching jio hotstar on mobile, the ₹598 pack is the only one in this set that explicitly includes it. If you want long-term data value, the annual plans offer more gigabytes per rupee but require separate OTT subscriptions.
