Notification Noise in Contao System-Notifications

The System-Notifications module allows administrators to configure email alerts based on event categories and severity levels. While this provides visibility into backend events like page edits and user logins, the current implementation triggers an email for every qualifying event detected by the system.

In environments with high activity or rapid successive events, this behavior can lead to notification noise, where a single logical issue or a bulk operation generates a flood of individual emails. There is currently no documented mechanism within the backend configuration to debounce, collapse, or throttle these alerts based on time intervals or event similarity.

Given the reliance on the system's event dispatcher, what are the available methods to limit the frequency of these notifications? Is there a documented way to suppress duplicate alerts for the same event type within a specific timeframe?
