Rider’s debugger watch window shows DateTime values converted to the local time zone, but DateTimeOffset values are displayed only with their original offset.
The goal is to let developers choose whether DateTimeOffset values appear in the local time zone instead of the raw offset, improving readability during debugging sessions.
Currently there is no documented setting to switch this display, and the existing Date and Time format string in Rider preferences only affects formatting, not time‑zone conversion.
Behavior may differ between Rider 2023.x and 2024.x releases, and changes to the operating system time zone might require a restart to take effect.
