Quickfix list navigation degrades with large error sets

When working with Neovim's quickfix list, users notice that navigating through hundreds of entries with :cnext and :cprev becomes noticeably slower, and the window redraw lags.
The exact point at which this degradation begins is not documented, and it is unclear whether the slowdown is due to internal list traversal, UI rendering, or option processing.
Additionally, the current behavior stops navigation at the list boundaries without wrapping, but some users expect cyclic navigation, and it is undecided if wrapping should be added as an option.
What is the practical size threshold where quickfix navigation performance drops acceptably?
Is the lack of wrap‑around intentional, or could it be made configurable?
Should Neovim provide a setting to enable cyclic quickfix navigation?
