Public Dashboard Sharing access controls and expiration

Public Dashboard Sharing
Datadog allows the generation of public URLs to share dashboards with external stakeholders without requiring authentication. This feature is designed for high-level visibility, but it lacks native technical guardrails to prevent persistent exposure of operational data.
Access Constraints
Current implementation allows any user with the URL to view the dashboard in any browser. There are no native configurations for IP allowlisting, password protection, or referrer header validation to restrict the audience of a public link.
Lifecycle Management
Public links do not support configurable expiration dates or automated rotation. Once a link is generated, it remains active until it is manually revoked via the UI or API, increasing the risk of long-term exposure if a link is leaked or indexed.
- Does Datadog provide a mechanism to set a Time-to-Live (TTL) for public dashboard links?
- Is there a way to restrict public dashboard access to specific IP ranges or CIDR blocks?
