Constraints

• Per‑channel notification preferences can override global settings.
• The built‑in Do Not Disturb schedule applies globally and cannot be scoped to individual channels.
• Custom filters via the Notification Filters plugin can silence alerts containing specific keywords.

Unresolved Decision

There is no native mechanism to collapse duplicate alerts that appear in multiple channels. Administrators cannot configure a rule to deduplicate such notifications, leading to repeated alerts for the same event.
