Is there a way to disable or adjust the automatic fetch interval in Sourcetree to reduce network usage on metered connections?

Goal

Reduce unnecessary network traffic caused by Sourcetree’s periodic automatic fetch operations when working with low‑traffic repositories on metered connections.

Constraints/uncertainty: The fetch behavior is undocumented, the UI provides no obvious option to disable or change the interval, and the behavior may vary between Windows and macOS builds or across releases.
