Integration of speakup kernel module with Arch Linux installation ISO: default enablement decision

The goal is to determine whether the official Arch Linux installation ISO should provide speech output immediately after boot for users who rely on screen readers, eliminating the need for manual activation of the speakup kernel module and espeakup daemon.
Current ISO includes the speakup module but leaves it inactive unless the kernel command line contains speakup.synth=soft and a userspace daemon such as espeakup is started, a step not documented in the default installation guide and not exposed by the archinstall TUI. This creates a tension between Arch’s minimalist philosophy and accessibility readiness, while unofficial remastered ISOs already enable speakup by default.
Should the official ISO enable speakup by default via kernel parameters? Should espeakup be added to the base ISO profile? Should archinstall present an accessibility option in its text‑based interface?
