How to remove the “Store” results from the Start Menu?

I have noticed Windows Store applications listed when searching my Start Menu and would like to remove them.

My PC is running Windows 11 (25H2, build 26200.6901).

I have tried:

using the Settings application to set Personalisation > Start > Show recommendations for tips, shortcuts, new apps, and more to disabled.
using Local Group Policy Editor to set Local Computer Policy\Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Search\Do not allow web search to enabled.

Search 'Microsoft Store', then open the app settings for it.
On the app settings window, under 'background component permissions', set 'let this system component run in the background' to never.
Scroll farther down, find and click the Terminate button, then Reset.

As of right now, this has removed the store results using the same 'foo' search you provided. After restarting in the Windows Store options remain absent from my Start menu search.

Did you restart your computer after making the changes? I bet explorer must be restarted for the changes to become effective. If not, click the ... menu at the top right, in my Win10, I can disable what it includes there.
