Goal
We want request‑history timestamps to reflect the user’s local time zone or a selectable zone, rather than the raw UTC string.
Current State
Hoppscotch stores timestamps as ISO 8601 UTC strings and displays them verbatim. There is no UI or export option to convert them.
Constraints & Uncertainty
Conversion would rely on client JavaScript Date parsing, but exposing this in the UI or export format is unclear. Adding a feature could affect compatibility with existing history exports and mock server responses.
Questions
- Should Hoppscotch introduce a time‑zone selector that automatically converts history timestamps to the chosen zone?
- If so, what is the most user‑friendly way to expose this conversion without breaking existing exported data?
- Could the mock server feature benefit from a similar time‑zone configuration for custom responses?
