A failure needs to be narrowed down before settings are changed or operations retried. Which evidence best separates application errors from environment and dependency problems?

Use the error chain, logs and request context to locate the first failing boundary. Check deadlines, goroutine leaks and blocked channels when a service stalls. The race detector can expose data races in exercised code, but a clean run does not prove all concurrent paths are safe.
