Error List filtering persistence across solution reloads in Visual Studio

Managing Diagnostic Noise in Large Solutions
Visual Studio provides the Error List window to filter build-time alerts by severity—Errors, Warnings, and Messages. This functionality is critical for reducing notification noise when working within multi-project solutions where IntelliSense and build warnings can saturate the view.
While global suppressions via #pragma warning provide a permanent fix for specific codes, the UI-based filtering in the Error List is often session-based. This creates a friction point when developers must manually re-apply their preferred visibility settings every time a solution is reloaded or the IDE is restarted.
Given the current behavior of the Problems view and Error List in recent Visual Studio versions, is there a documented mechanism to persist these UI filter states across sessions? If not, what is the recommended approach for maintaining a consistent, noise-reduced alert view for all team members on a shared project?
