Error #13096: Unable to write HTML output – risk of accidental public exposure of sensitive results

The goal is to prevent confidential survey data from being unintentionally exposed when SPSS HTML exports are placed in a web‑accessible directory. While Error #13096 flags permission problems that block file creation, it does not address the content of the exported HTML once the file is successfully written. SPSS currently offers no built‑in option to strip or obfuscate variable labels, case identifiers, or sensitive values from HTML output, leaving the responsibility for manual scrubbing to the user. This gap creates uncertainty about whether any export‑time controls or post‑process hooks can be enforced automatically to guarantee that only non‑sensitive information is published.
Can OMS be configured to exclude variable labels and case identifiers from HTML output? Is there a supported method to apply a sanitization filter during the export process? Are there any documented or community‑endorsed tools that integrate with SPSS to automatically obfuscate sensitive fields before HTML generation?
