Blueprint Graph Editor Keyboard Navigation Skips Disconnected Nodes and Comment Bubbles

Developers need a Blueprint graph editor that can be navigated exclusively with the keyboard and whose structural changes are announced to screen‑reader users. The current SGraphEditor implementation draws nodes and connections outside the standard Slate widget hierarchy, so it does not expose IAccessibleMessageHandler notifications for node addition, deletion, wire creation or comment updates, and keyboard focus cannot jump to disconnected nodes, comment bubbles or individual pins without mouse interaction. While Epic’s accessibility roadmap has prioritized UMG runtime features and high‑contrast themes, the Blueprint graph editor gaps remain unresolved, and it is unclear whether UE 5.5 includes any unannounced IAccessibleMessageHandler integration or if extending focus traversal would require a deeper redesign of the graph rendering pipeline. What technical obstacles prevent SGraphPanel from emitting accessibility messages for graph mutations? How can keyboard focus traversal be extended to isolated nodes, comment bubbles and pins without breaking existing interaction patterns? Are there any planned engine changes in UE 5.5 that address these gaps?
